Sailing day
Last Thursday 24th May, the students of the institut d’Argentona, were to the port of Mataró to practice: sail, padel surf, kayak and a knot activity. As we were many classes we separated into two groups, the first group are the classes A,B,D and the 2nd group are C,E,F.
We didn’t do the activities altogether, we did them in groups of 13 persons, each group has a name like Alfa, Bravo, Charlie & Delta, each activity lasted more or less 45 minutes.​
SAIL: The activity of sail was the longest, before getting on the boat we had to put lifevest and we had to make groups of six or seven persons, then we went sailing, it was so relaxing.
KAYAK: we had to put in pars to get on the kayak and then in the middle of the sea we did some activities like stand up I the kayak and paddle or careers… it was very fun!
PADDLE SURF: All the group got on a big table with a teacher behind us and we paddle to the beach. When we arrived we throw ourselves into the water.
KNOT ACTIVITY: We did this activity the first and for us, it was most boring activity. They thought us to make different types of knots like The Eight, The Snake, Bowknot, double knot...
OUR OPINION: We think that this activity was the best excursion of the entire course. It was an amazing experience to learn about the sea in general. We enjoyed a lot with our friends and with our teachers too. we hope that this activity will be carried out every year.
